Worried that your children will forget everything they learned during the school year over the course of the summer months? Tutoring during the summer months may be an option to improve and reinforce skills. We have student centered activities to bridge students from one grade to the next as well as a tool box of enrichment and remedial  resources to meet the needs of every student who walks through our doors.

Children are naturally not going to be very excited about summer tutoring, and that is why we make it a goal to create an environment that is light, welcoming, fun and contagious! Summer tutoring is purposely built to deviate from the traditional school day yet maintain an environment that is conducive to the most successful learning possible.

It is important for children to decompress over the summer months and have a balance. We encourage continued learning but learning can happen all the time through life's teachable moments and one-on-one tutoring is not always necessary. If you don't choose summer tutoring for your child be sure to follow these tip to help your child stay on track to begin the next school year as strong as possible:

1. 0-99 years - Read, read and read some more. Reading improves knowledge and writing skills. Visit the library at least once a week for exposure to books, magazines and other media materials. Read together while at the library and allow your child to choose books according to his/her own interest and style. This will promote child initiated reading through the years rather than forced reading.
