About our SAT Tutor for the spring sessions:

"Hi!  My name is Amanda and I am a High School Math Teacher as well as private tutor for all grade levels K-college!   I have an undergraduate degree from University of Georgia and a Master’s from Piedmont College. My Master's is in Math Education, and I have 8 years of experience in the classroom.  I specialize in all levels of Math K-college as well as math and verbal SAT/ACT test prep clinics and individual tutoring. My SAT/ACT test prep program is specialized and effective!  I enjoy helping all ages, all subjects and all levels!  I love to find creative and interesting ways to present new and challenging topics to students, and see their confidence build as they gain understanding of the subject, and become proud of what they can accomplish.  I have years of experience in tutoring reading, language arts, work and study habits as well as some science.  I have a true passion for teaching, and truly love what I do!

I was born and raised in Oxford Georgia, a small town about 40 miles east of Atlanta.  In my free time, I enjoy running, tennis, and card games.  I look forward to working with new families and helping them achieve their educational goals!"
